Reborn baby doll Linda Murray Cradle baby Ashton Drake beautiful

This sweet sleeper is a Linda Murray baby through Ashton Drake. I'm not sure of the name of the sculpt but it looks very close to Andi asleep from the Cradle series. Andi is about 20 inches long and has 3/4 limbs in a white custom made body. She weighs about 4 lbs. S arms and legs that may have some silicone in the mix as they are a bit on the softer side of most vinyl kits.

However, true to some of the Drakes the head is coated inside with a harder plastic. Giving the feel of a very hard skull with soft skin over it. Andy had glued on hair but I was doubtful I could do a really thick root with the hard plastic coating. I decided to root OVER the glued hair in between cooking the paint (while the head was warm). If you have ever tried to remove the glue from the Drake's it is a pain.

Poking in the already there glued hair gave a nice even base while the new root brought the color and texture to life. I used genesis heat set in many layers to give Andi a nice mottled skin tone. I matte varnished her and tested the paint to make sure it would last and not rub off. She has a magnetic pacifier and will come from my smoke free home with the outfit pictured.
