New and never removed from box: Violet Waters Swingtime Serenade Doll by Mel Odom for Ashton Drake. Lavender chiffon over satin strapless dress. Brown eyes with applied eyelashes. Flower hair pin and flower wristlet.

Lavender high heel shoes with ribbon ankle wraps. Certificate of Authenticity and other papers included.

To the best of my knowledge, Violet Waters is the only African American doll created for Ashton Drake fashion dolls in the Gene Marshall era. Violet's skin tone is a bit darker than it may appear in my photos.

I recently attended the estate sale of very nice woman with an amazing doll collection; please keep checking for more of her lovely items as I gradually get them all listed. We did it - we downsized!
