I do believe she might be vintage by now. Morning Bird Song is approx. 19 tall, and has deep captivating blue eyes. She has a fine crafted porcelain head, arms, and legs, and cloth body.
She has long, shiny black hair, and a golden skin-tone complexion. She is beautifully dressed in a traditional beaded "suede" bride dress with fringe, matching beaded moccasins, headpiece with feathers, beaded earrings, and wedding bouquet of dried flowers. Her original doll stand is included with her. Her head does not move and there is basically no posing the arms, very little posing to the legs.
Despite that, every detail of this Indian maiden is amazing. I did not see any issues with the porcelain body or the costume.
As far as I can tell, the Indian maiden has everything she came with, however no box or papers were with her. She has a number and the designer's name on her back, but I was unable to determine if she was a limited edition or the year she was released.
I did display her in my bedroom, but she was not exposed to sunlight, pet or other odors. I will be listing 3 other Indian maidens, all designers from Ashton Drake, all just as beautiful as this one.
