From the well-kept collection of a meticulous Doll collector: RARE! Miss Gene Marshall in "The Kiss" has been professionally styled. Her gown and robe have been steam pressed to perfection.

Her fiery red long locks have been styled in Long curls and waves down her back, with more curls to the front and side, in a half updo, to suit the scene in the film in which she is acting. Whomever it was that said redheads should not wear pink never saw Miss Gene Marshall in this fashion! You remember how you used to be thrilled by the languid love scenes played by your favorite stars. And now it's you on the set, waiting to play that scene with a leading man the world's women would die for, could they but see him at a distance.

Soon, you'll be in his arms, in front of the cameras! And at the end of the scene... In Hollywood's golden age, there's a love story the public never tires of. He puts a record on the phonograph. She slips into something more comfortable. " For Gene, at this moment, everything must be perfectly romantic: her dramatic entrance back into the scene from the bedroom, her stunning costume, even the sparkling "diamond brooch worn provocatively at her bustline. Gene's pink, silk satin gown and peignoir(circa 1946), lavishly trimmed in dazzling white Marabou feathers and lined on the inside with shimmering, silver lame, are of legendary design, hearkening back to the slinkiness of Jean Harlow, and looking forward to the buoyant sexiness of Marilyn Monroe. The Ensemble itself invites romance. She also wears "diamond" earrings, high-heeled pink mules and sheer white hosiery. Gene captures the scene with smoldering looks, the toss of her head, the touch of her hand on his. As the credits roll, Gene receives "the kiss"... And we can only guess what happens next! EXTRA: Gene is surprised by the cast and crew with a special gag gift... A statue of the Frog Prince. This made Gene laugh and helped her relax for the scene.

She even posed for a few photos pretending to kiss the little guy. No original packaging for Gene is included however, Gene's doll stand is included. COA and story card included. Bonus: as an added delight, Gene's new little "friend", her frog Prince, and her complete "Twilight Rumba" ensemble, including jewelry, hosiery, and shoes is included.
