J'Adore Gene FDQ Magazine & Jamieshow Exclusive Gift Set LE 150

In June 2013 FDQ Magazine revealed their own special Gene doll "J'Adore". Was an exclusive for Fashion Doll Quarterly magazine. She is the second resin ball-jointed doll created by JamieShow with Mel Odom---and she was inspired by a Dior book the magazine's editor, Pat Henry, had received for Christmas.

Henry wanted this limited edition Gene to be dressed in daywear so to complement the ice blue evening gown worm by "Phoenix", the first resin Gene, wore. Henry reached out to Doug James, one of the original "Gene Team" members to design the ensembles to create a day to dusk gift set.

James styled J'Adore in an auburn hued chignon wig cap and dressed her in a chic red suit accessorized with a fabulous black chapeaux, black "fur" stole that buttons up. A muff, black pumps and matching clutch. Jewelry includes a scatter pin and bracelet. Outfit change comprises a classic 50s pink cocktail dress with a bodice fitting sleeveless shell accented with signature Dior bows and a billowing ballerina taffeta skirt. Black opera length gloves (and a matching hand change) offer a dramatic color contrast.
