Gene It Happened In Monterey Outfit 2002 NRFB Limited Edition Rare. It Happened In Monterey is a limited edition Gene outfit (it may have been a Limited Edition) from 2002. The outfit is a delightful beach ensemble circa 1954. Gene is ready for surf and sun in this baby blue and white striped cotton sunsuit that, with a swirl of a blue and white striped belted skirt and a blue capelet to cap it off, becomes a charming outfit perfect for lunch by the shore. From cabana to the water, Gene is bedecked in a solid blue sarong.

Includes cork-soled wedgies, stra beach-brim hat, woven straw bag with horsehair braid trim and blue "pearl" earrings and necklace. Gene was created by Mel Odom, this outfit was designed by Wayne Nilson.

All Gene outfits fit Ashton Drake Gene dolls, as well as Violet Waters and Madra dolls (these dolls are 16 tall). It Happened In Monterey for the Gene Marshall doll by Ashton Drake comes to you mint and factory fresh, NRFB (never removed from the original box with original brown shipper) and it is pristine mint. I peeked in the back of the box to make sure the brochure and COA were there.

This outfit is old store stock from my closed bricks and mortar store Katherine's Cottage; this is our only one of this outfit. Fantastic Dolls and Toys For Sale!
