"FOCUS ON FASHION" GENE DOLL & ACCESSORIES. From the Land of Enchantment Gene Fan Club. June 22, 2003 - 6th Annual Birthday Celebration. This is a rare offering, seldom seen for sale with the complete attendees package. The Ashton Drake Simply Gene Doll, approximately 16 tall, was redressed and hair restyled for the Club's annual event. Gene is dressed in a fully lined silk dupioni dress and bolero jacket with a silk pillbox hat. The fashion is accented with a burgundy rose on the hat, beaded "pin, " and clutch handbag.

Gene wears matching ivory pumps and a faux pearl necklace, bracelet and earrings. Attendees received a 5-piece fashion accessory set in black to transform the fashion from daytime to evening wear, which includes strappy shoes, gloves, beaded drawstring evening bag, a tulle skirt sash with attached belt, and a black hat accented with faux pearls. Attendees also received table gifts that included a 10-piece "china" tea set made in Thailand, a circular burgundy tablecloth covering a faux table, a mini angel resin trinket box, a Gene hat box containing 2 official Gene pins, a souvenir button from the 2003 Focus on Fashion event, and the official 2002 Gene convention pin. The original fashion and story pamphlet from the Simply Doll are also included.
