This is the most beautiful girl. She is Ashton Drake's jointed "Mary Mary Quite Contrary" doll. She has been masterfully repainted by Helen Skinner, one of Dianna Effner's master artists, best known for her work on the Little Darlings dolls. She has stunning, green eyes and amazing curly red hair. Mary Mary is a jointed doll.

She is not ball jointed, but she is jointed. She can bend at the knees, at the wrists and at the elbows.

As with most of these dolls, she has one leg slightly shorter than the other. I have yet to see one of these dolls that doesn't. So she will need a stand. I will send one with her. This precious girl comes dressed in a handmade, heirloom dress that I custom made for her.

It is made of the finest, yellow Swiss dimity, trimmed in fine french cotton laces and entredeaux. I will likely never make another dress in this style, as the bottom edge ruffle is a royal pain in the behind to do. I custom fit a pattern for her, custom made her some French lace stockings, and fitted her with some little leather Boneka shoes.

Her beautiful wig is her original, and suits her in the most beautiful way. I absolutely love this doll. I have enjoyed owning her, and it's extremely difficult to part with this one, but more important needs are prevailing right now and so she needs to find a new home.

She will come to you as you see her, along with some of her original clothes. She is also missing her original red hat and there is no COA paperwork for her. This is how I received her, and since I knew she was going to be restyled anyway, it was never a problem for me. This is a rare sculpt to begin with, and very difficult, if near impossible, to find.
