Complete Set of 8 LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE DOLLS Ashton Drake MIB + COA Doll

This listing is for a charming complete set of eight "Little House on the Prairie" dolls by artist, Joan Ibarolle for the Ashton-Drake Galleries. Each of these beautiful dolls is still in the original inner box which are all in very good condition and each includes the original outer box which are all in good condition. All eight of the original Certificates of Authenticity and tags are included; seven of the eight dolls also have the original descriptive leaflet and six of the dolls have the original care card which gives details on unpacking, posing and care. Each descriptive leaflet gives a description of the doll collection, a story about the individual doll and information about the artist. As an example I'll give you the doll collection description in part. The official collection description says in part: When Laura Ingalls Wilder published her nine "Little House" books, beginning in the year 1932 with "Little House in the Big Woods, " they proved to be much more than just the memoirs of a young girl raised in the rural wilderness of a bygone century.

These lively, personal memoirs captured as never before the true spirit of America's pioneer families, learning to live simply off the land as they looked forward to a golden future. Born in 1867 in a small log cabin on the edge of the Big Woods in Wisconsin (where the Ingalls' saga begins), Laura and her family eventually moved by covered wagon through Kansas and Minnesota, and finally settled in The Dakota Territory. Almanzo - Laura's husband - This doll was retired 12-31-94, is in excellent condition and comes with his wood handled pitch fork. Baby Grace - This doll was retired 12-31-1996, is in excellent condition and comes with the sprig of wildflowers she holds in her hand. Carrie - This doll was retired 12-31-1994, is in excellent condition and comes with the three little sticks of candy, one green striped peppermint for her to taste and the other two still in the package. Laura - This doll was retired 12-31-1993, is in excellent condition and comes with the slate and book she carries over her arm with a buckled leather strap.

Ma Ingalls - This doll was retired 12-31-1995, is in excellent condition and comes with the latticed pie still in it's box. Mary - This doll was retired 12-31-1993, is in excellent condition and comes with five apples she picked for pie making and carries in her apron from the orchard.

Nellie - This doll was retired 12-31-2004, is in excellent condition and comes with her porcelain doll in it's matching dress. Pa Ingalls - This doll was retired 12-31-1995, is in excellent condition and comes with his still boxed fiddle.
