"Fashion Plot" is from the last of the Gene line that Odom created before collaborating with Wu and Integrity toys. She has near platinum hair. Warm red lips and blush and golden ochre brows---Odom had ceased screening grey brows in his later lines.

She is by far one of his more adventuresome creations---a look one associates with an Irving Penn high fashion shoot in Paris. The ensemble features all the detailing and mash-up references that one would expect in a post-war Dior suit. The suit is cut with a cinced waist which flares out into wide peplum over a thin pencil skirt that has button detailing up the back.

The black is relieved by a hint of a white blouse peeking out from under a priestly nehru collar. The collar shows a violet floral puff--which adds a hint of whimsical color.

The purple accent appears again on the snood (yes a snood) --and the color is picked up again in a matching muff--which looks to be a bed of violets. It all gets topped off with a wire brim portrait hat that can be styled into any number of angles--all told a very exciting and innovative silhoette. I took her out for photos.
