This is one of the grails. I was the original Gene person. I have loved her for 20 years.
This dress was originally going to be a Violet Waters doll. I think Mel decided not to do the doll, and there were a few of these dresses which were prototypes. Maybe they were too complicated to be offered in mass. I don't quite understand when I see it on a doll, maybe somebody dressed an existing Gene doll.
